French-speaking architect

HKS has an opportunity for a French-speaking architect to join its team in London.
We are currently looking for an experienced and talented French-speaking architect to join our London studio and work on projects within our sports sector. The role requires a candidate with all-round technical ability and proven experience working across all project stages; from concept to project completion. The candidate will have the opportunity to take on large scale exciting stadium development projects around the world working alongside a fantastic team.
The role would suit an experienced architect (RIBA Part 3) with proven experience within the sports sector or other large-scale development projects. The candidate is required to have excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills in English and French with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multi task and to manage changing and challenging workloads.
The ideal candidate must have the following key skills and experience:
- preferred delivery experience in stadia design (or other large scale development projects)
- significant experience post-qualification
- experienced in delivering projects in France and knowledge of the French architectural system
- expert knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Office
- fluent French and English speaker
- ideally the candidate will be a registered architect in France
Additionally, the candidate must have the ability to travel at short notice between the UK and France and occasionally further afield.
There will be changes specific to the successful candidate’s roles and responsibilities from time to time, depending on the needs of the studio and projects in hand. There is therefore a need for the holder of this position to adopt a flexible approach.
