Associate, senior landscape architect/landscape architect

HTA Design is looking for an associate, senior landscape architect and a landscape architect to join its team in London.
HTA Design is a multi-disciplinary practice with over 200 staff. Our landscape team was established in 2003 and now employs c. 40 landscape architects. The team works on complex projects developing beautiful, resilient and biodiverse schemes. Our work is UK-focused and ranges from large-scale regeneration and master planning to housing, city parks and landscape restoration.
We are seeking a talented, highly collaborative associate, senior chartered landscape architect with exceptional leadership, management, and communication skills and a landscape architect (chartered or near chartered) with design flair and the ability to form strong and collaborative relationships with our clients.
To be considered as an associate, senior chartered landscape architect, the successful candidate will have:
- relevant degree in landscape architecture or other relevant postgraduate/Master’s degree
- chartered member status of the Landscape Institute or equivalent professional status
- ten plus years of relevant post-qualification experience in landscape architecture
- passion for great design and the positive influence it has on people, place and nature
- experience of working on medium and large-scale schemes at all work stages, running multiple complex projects
- experience of project and client management, including resource management, fee proposals and tendering for and winning new work
- exceptional people management, development and leadership skills – someone who is able to motivate and inspire teamwork and high performance
- experience of working effectively in an interdisciplinary environment
- experience of working predominantly in the UK
To be considered as a landscape architect the successful candidate will have:
- relevant degree in landscape architecture or other relevant postgraduate/Master’s degree
- chartered member status of the Landscape Institute, or near chartered with extensive project delivery experience will be considered
- three plus years demonstrable relevant post-qualification experience
- extensive project delivery, studio and site experience
- proven experience of working on medium to large-scale projects at all work stages and the capability to run complex projects and deliver high-quality results
- experience of successful detailed planning and delivery of high-quality projects
- experience of working in an interdisciplinary environment
- experience of working predominantly in the UK
- strong organisational skills
- good verbal presentation skills with the ability to communicate clearly both in written and graphical form
- strong IT skills, with experience using all MS Office applications and highly proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and Lumion
