Fletcher Priest Architects is hiring a bid manager to join its team in London.

This is an opportunity to join a thriving, well-established AJ100 practice as a bid manager. Working closely with and supporting the communications team and the partners, the successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, coordinating and producing high-quality bid material. With opportunities to contribute to essential business development efforts, the role offers potential for further growth at the practice. Prior experience in a similar role within the architectural or development industry is essential.

Fletcher Priest is an architectural practice of 120 people, working across the scales on interiors, architectural and urban design. General responsibilities:

• managing the production of bid responses of the highest standard to help the practice win work
• tracking bids, monitoring submission deadlines and following up where required
• keeping a list of active bids and analysing feedback
• maintaining the practice’s client and contact database
• maintaining a library of resources and information to support bids including CVs, images, photographs, films and project information
• assisting in the organisation of practice events, cultivating relationships with clients and contacts, and supporting new business initiatives

Skills required:

• experience and understanding of the architectural bid management process
• advanced knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator
• a keen visual and graphic eye
• excellent written and oral communication skills
• meticulous, thorough, well-organised and able to work effectively under pressure
• ability to multitask efficiently and prioritise tasks
• proactive and energetic
