AD Associates is hiring an assistant designer to join its team in London.

What you’ll be doing

As assistant designer, you will work collaboratively supporting other designers on the project. You will assume ownership, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of work assigned to you, ensuring work is completed on time and to the highest standard.

You will have exposure to different stages of a project, ranging from conceptual design ideas and brainstorming to developing schemes and producing CAD drawings and details.

You will be responsible for producing schedules, specifications, sample boards and any other relevant documentation necessary to illustrate and identify schemes fully.

Skills:

  • BA in interior design/architecture or equivalent
  • one/two years of industry experience
  • AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Excel
  • competent hand sketching skills
  • knowledge of suppliers of furniture, fabrics and hard finishes
  • excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work in a team and take instruction

The salary will be based on experience. All candidates must be eligible to work in the UK. This is a permanent position with a three-month probationary period.
