Boss Design is currently looking for a talented design engineer in the West Midlands.
Due to continued international growth, Boss Design, the award winning designer and manufacturer of workplace furniture have an exciting opportunity for a talented design engineer to join their product development team in the West Midlands.
The successful candidate will be working as part of the most innovative furniture design studio in the UK on a diverse range of projects for commercial interiors that include automotive dealerships, airline lounges, retail banks and the offices of many of the world’s leading multinationals.
You will come from a product, industrial or furniture manufacturing background and be able to demonstrate your ability to develop and implement product designs across a wide range of materials and manufacturing processes. You will need to prove that you have the confidence to communicate across all levels of the organization, as well as with suppliers and manufacturers in all regions.
A very good knowledge and speed on SolidWorks is essential, as is a minimum of five year’s relevant experience of developing components and assemblies using fabrication, injection-moulding, casting and extrusion.
