Exhibtion designer
at Natural History Museum

Natural History Museum is seeking an exhibition designer to join its team in London.

This is an exciting time to join the exhibitions and 3D team at the Natural History Museum’s design studio as we develop new exhibitions and displays that bring to the fore the collections and scientific research carried out by the museum’s scientists.

This role will be crucial in shaping the way we respond to the challenges of the planetary crisis and the museum’s attitude in response, and how we communicate this with our visitors through our displays and exhibition programme. You will closely collaborate with other creatives and museum colleagues to deliver creative designs and inspirational displays that help position the museum as driving force at the intersections of science, culture and art at local, national and international level.

The design studio is situated on the fifth floor overlooking the towers of our building in South Kensington and is at the heart of everything public facing at the Natural History Museum. We are a dynamic team of graphic designers, 3D/exhibition designers and architects responsible for strategically developing and designing for our buildings, temporary and permanent exhibitions, brand identity, visual communication and marketing campaigns.

The successful candidate must have experience working as lead designer within the museum environment and collections.
