The role
Child Graddon Lewis (CGL) has secured a number of large and complex masterplanning, urban design and architectural projects and are looking to expand our senior team.
We are seeking a talented and experienced architect to join our senior team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in masterplanning and architectural design, demonstrating expertise across the entire project lifecycle, from concept through planning to successful delivery.
This position requires a professional with a portfolio showcasing projects of significant scale and complexity, involving the management of large in-house and external consultant teams, as well as collaboration with both public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate would complement our management team in developing the practice alongside the specific project roles.
- lead and contribute to mixed-use masterplanning projects, showcasing a strong understanding of urban design and place-making strategy
- demonstrate commercial awareness in project decision-making, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources
- exhibit design flair in developing creative and innovative solutions that align with client expectations and project objectives
- communicate effectively through visual, written and verbal means, facilitating clear and concise collaboration within the team and with clients
- utilise planning and construction design expertise to navigate regulatory requirements and deliver projects within specified timelines
- demonstrate self-organisation, structured thinking and strategic planning in managing project workflows and team dynamics
