Gamma Architects is a leading architecture firm in Gibraltar known for its innovative designs and commitment to sustainability and excellence. They are currently seeking a senior architectural technologist/technical lead to join their dynamic team and contribute to their exciting projects – could this be your new role?
They offer sustainable architectural services together with interior architecture, urban design and master planning. Committed to design excellence and delivering all their projects to BIM Level 2, they are proud to produce thoughtful and sensitive solutions. You will be working across all RIBA stages on a range of building types and a variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure and cultural projects.
Some of your key responsibilities will be:
- collaborate with architects and design team to develop architectural technical packages
- create and manage BIM models for projects
- ensure that projects adhere to industry standards and regulations, specifically in the UK or Gibraltar
- provide guidance and support to junior staff
- review and assess technical drawings and documentation
- prepare RIBA Stage 3 to 5 packages
- participate in site visits and apply on-site knowledge to project development
In return, you can expect a starting salary of around £38k to £45k and a great team to be part of, in a relaxed and professional environment with fantastic views of the Bay of Gibraltar!
Hybrid working arrangement is possible, although you will be mostly office-based.
You may be the ideal person for this role, if you have:
- minimum of ten years of experience in architectural technology
- proficiency in building information modeling (BIM), also expertise with Autodesk Revit and NBS
- ability to lead and mentor junior team members
- experience in mixed-use residential schemes
- profound knowledge of UK or Gibraltar building regulations
- ability to review technical packages and prepare RIBA Stage 3 to 5 packages
- site experience and a strong understanding of on-site processes
- EU or UK citizenship
