Cross Works is seeking a highly skilled visualiser to join its design and technology teams in London.

We are looking for a passionate, highly artistic and meticulous visualiser who has demonstrable expertise in the creation of high quality visualisations, animations and VR experiences. The successful candidate will be highly creative and possess a diverse range of 3D/visualisation skills, with a particular strength in real-time rendering softwares, including Unreal Engine.

The role will involve working across our design and technology teams in the conception, creation and refinement of visual and immersive experiences across our projects globally, from architectural projects to city-wide urban strategies. An ability to work at the largest of scales with experience in developing immersive experiences for entire urban quarters, will be an advantage.

The following knowledge, capabilities and experience will be required in order to be shortlisted for interview:

  • expertise in Unreal (UE5)
  • expertise in a range of visualisation/realtime rendering tools (including Lumion, Enscape, D5, Blender amongst others)
  • expertise in Rhino (and other 3D softwares) is essential
  • demonstrable working knowledge of GIS (and wider Esri tools) is an advantage
  • architectural/urban design background with more than five years of demonstrable visualisation experience (i.e in practice) in architecture and/or urban design is required
  • ability to storyboard and sketch out ideas is essential; visual storytelling is a key aspect of this role
  • exceptionally high quality output in still images, animations and VR experiences
  • excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to collaborate effectively with the wider team
  • good command of the English language (both written and spoken)

We offer a generous salary and benefits (dependent on experience and capabilities), including an annual bonus scheme.

This position will require working in an office environment five days a week in London (please note, this is not a remote or WFH/semi-WFH role).
