Woven Place is seeking an outside sales manager to join its team in London.
Woven is a vibrant rug gallery with locations in West Hollywood and New York and now launching a new London showroom in Belgravia. The storied antique, the refined vintage, the sublime tribal, the cool contemporary and precisely customised: Woven originates the finest heirloom rugs from markets and weavers worldwide.
About the role
The outside sales manager will manage sales with the A&D community by focusing on building strong relationships in London and the home counties. This role will assist in growing a boutique brand and work with a passionate and strategic team. This person will also develop our territory sales by maximising sales opportunities, growing existing business and new relationships with exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- proactively solicit business with the A&D community
- nurture customer relationships to ensure repeat and referral business and support long-term sales goals
- schedule presentations with design firms both in the showroom and in the designers’ offices to educate on our product line and our custom service
- help Woven develop business in territories across the UK, within company territory guidelines
- meet and exceed monthly individual sales goals while representing Woven at industry events
- travel (outside of the office) for more than 50 per cent of the time
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree preferably in interior design or a related field
- minimum of five years of luxury sales experience with a proven track record
- strong existing relationships with the A&D community
- knowledge of how to develop custom orders with clients
- strong aesthetic sense and knowledge of industry trends
- strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
- impeccable communication and networking skill
