Nelson Design is looking for an interior designer to join its studio in London.
Founded by Claire Nelson in 1991, Nelson Design is a creative and vibrant architectural interior design company, offering strong design solutions to create bespoke and remarkable spaces.
Based in central London, they continue to grow and now seek a mid-weight interior designer to join their busy design studio. The successful candidate will be working from brief to completion and will need to be an all-round designer, capable of working on several different projects at one time showing flexibility within the role.
The person we are looking for must have:
- at least three years’ experience in high-end residential
- strong design skills
- strong architectural and joinery knowledge skills
- strong FF&E skills with knowledge of sourcing and specifying high end products
- ability to generate and develop concepts in order to provide effective solutions to client brief
- ability to prepare schedules, specifications and full detailed drawing packages for tender
- proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign
- ability of scheduling and communication of costs and specifications to all parties concerned
- fluent in written and spoken English
- excellent communication skills, well organised and very detail- oriented as well as being able to work under pressure and work within a team
