Midweight designer

Amos and Amos is looking for a midweight designer to join its team in London.
Amos and Amos is an award winning London based interior architecture and design agency who specialise in residential design within the development sector.
The role
We are looking for a midweight interior designer to join our busy studio. The successful candidate will be working from brief to completion and will need to be a creative thinker, excellent multi tasker and able to balance working from strategy through to detailing.
Experience:
- educated to degree level in interior design/ interior architecture with four to five years of industry experience
- experience within the residential development sector preferred
Key responsibilities:
- able to present a compelling design narrative to clients at concept stage
- a strong design aesthetic design sensibility, detail orientated
- highly organised and efficient with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment, both collaboratively and independently; and meet tight deadlines with a positive attitude
- client-facing
- take responsibility for the design and day-to-day management of projects
- create mood boards and concept presentations
- create rendered SketchUp models of interiors/details
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strong FF&E skills with knowledge of sourcing and specifying
Key skills:
- proficient in Vectorworks, SketchUp, InDesign and Photoshop
- good technical knowledge
- excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills
