John McAslan + Partners, an award winning, international architecture practice is looking for a mid-weight graphic designer to join their busy London office.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a practice at the forefront of architectural design. John McAslan + Partners has an extensive and award-winning portfolio encompassing cultural, transportation, educational, commercial, residential and masterplanning work as well as an exceptional track record in community projects such as the N17 Design Studio in Tottenham, north London, along with sponsoring the William Road Gallery which hosts events throughout the course of each year, currently Hidden Homeless. The practice’s portfolio is diverse – both in the UK and overseas and having recently registered in NY and opened an office in Sydney.
You will be responsible for supporting the architectural process across the practice, delivering exceptional creative solutions and overseeing the design and communications output across all teams in the practice.
We are looking for somebody agile and responsive, with a multi-disciplinary skill set and a ‘can do’ attitude. The role will be to collate, programme and ensure delivery all required marketing a graphic collateral working alongside our wider architectural team and marketing/PR partners.
The position will cover a wide remit across a diverse and productive practice and will include the following:
- generate creative ideas and concepts to fulfil the client’s brief
- work with key account managers, to understand the clients’ brief, objectives
- take part in pitch ideas, and creation of collateral for final client presentation
- design, production and delivery of well-crafted and beautiful printed documents
- branding for both projects and the William Road Gallery events
- website management and administration
- internal communications/collateral
- management and administration with others for social media
- commission photographers to work on projects and on location as required.
- cooperate with the rest of the creative team across different types of media: visualisation, marketing, PR and modelmakers
- overseeing and ordering of graphic stock
- Overseeing and management of printed collateral through our in-house print shop
- take work from concept to final execution within deadlines
- ability to work to tight deadlines
