Interior designer
at Horizontal Design
Horizontal Design is hiring an interior designer to join its team in London.
Responsibilities:
- collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, functional needs and budget constraints
- develop and present design concepts, including space planning, colour schemes, materials and furnishings
- create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit
- select and source furniture, fixtures, finishes and accessories that align with the design concept
- coordinate with contractors, architects and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution
- oversee the installation of design elements and provide on-site support as needed
- manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Qualifications:
- five years’ experience in interior design
- bachelor’s degree in interior design or a related field
- proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhinoceros 3D and Adobe Creative Suite
- strong knowledge of building codes, regulations and industry standards
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- project management experience is a plus
- familiarity with 3ds Max or other 3D rendering software is a plus

Pay: £36,000 to £45,000 per year
