Part 1 architectural assistant

Claridge Architects is hiring a Part 1 architectural assistant to join its team in London, UK.
Candidates should have strong design and organisational skills, along with a genuine passion for architecture. The successful applicant will contribute to an expanding portfolio of projects at both pre-planning and construction stages, including custom homes, large residential developments, and complex mixed-use projects. Key responsibilities include collaborating on design concepts, creating 3D models, and supporting the planning process.
This role offers the opportunity to refine skills in a dynamic, professional environment. The ideal candidate will be confident, friendly, and enthusiastic, with a collaborative attitude and a willingness to assist the team wherever needed.

Essential requirements:
- personal motivation and discipline to work independently and collaboratively
- clear, concise and effective written and verbal communication skills
- ability to plan, prioritise and organise workload
- strong 3D modelling skills (SketchUp)
- Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- experience with Vectorworks is advantageous
Additional advantageous skills:
- basic understanding of BIM
- physical model making experience
- experience working on UK planning applications
