Laplace is hiring an architect to join its team in Paris.

Job description

Laplace is seeking a motivated, talented, and ambitious architect with a minimum of five to seven years of professional experience to work in its Paris office on high-end residential interior projects.

Candidates will assist our project managers in our high-end architecture and interior design projects and must be excellent team players.

Profile:

• Possesses a unique vision and flair for design and innovation
• Has a passion for architecture and interior design, as well as a deep and sensitive interest and approach to design
• Has a solid knowledge of contemporary art
• Can develop and present a sound architectural concept
• Interested in architectural details, interior designs and custom furniture, always eager to learn more
• Has excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino and Enscape
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office to create graphic visualisations for final presentations
• Prepares or supervises the preparation of construction details, architectural plans, schedules, specifications, and other construction documents for use by contractors and trades
• Able to track changes, receive and communicate information to contractors and consultants
• Is confident, organised, attentive to detail and proactive
• Possesses excellent technical and presentation skills
• Is diligent and rigorous, has a sense of priorities and knows how to manage his time well

Conditions of employment:

• European passport or right to work in the EU
• Lives in Paris or can move as soon as possible
• English proficiency required, French proficiency required
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not absolutely required.
• Experience in the USA would be a plus
