Ash Sakula is a London-based architecture studio founded in 1996 and led by Cany Ash and Robert Sakula. The firm specialises in projects that are community-focused, sustainable and materials-driven. With work full of colour and experimental with texture, the firm prefers the rough and handmade over the machine-manufactured.
Pictured above is a prototype for affordable and sustainable construction in Hampshire, where a row of mews houses are clad with wooden shingles on the end-wall and the pitched roofs – all designed as part of a rural eco redevelopment project.
