KAAN Architecten is a Dutch studio founded by architects Kees Kaan, Vincent Panhuysen and Dikkie Scipio. Formed in 2014, the firm practices architecture, urbanism, research and interior design, specialising in residential, workplace and retail projects. The practice is based in Rotterdam and has an additional office in São Paulo.
Pictured above is Utopia, the Library and Academy for Performing Arts – a music school and library in Aalst, Belgium. The library is named after Thomas More’s book Utopia which was first printed in Aalst.
