Starbucks is an American coffee company established in Seattle in 1971. The company has since gone on to become one of the biggest coffeehouse chains in the world, with over 10,000 employees in over 11,000 locations.

The company has its own in-house store development and design teams, working on branding, packaging, store planning and interior design.
