The Design Museum was founded by Sir Terence Conran in 1989. The museum focuses on contemporary design and covers product, industrial, graphic, fashion and architectural design. Located in Kensington, west London since 2016, the museum’s interiors were designed by architectural designer John Pawson while the overall masterplan and refurbishment of the exterior was designed by Dutch architecture practice OMA with Allies and Morrison.
