Clive Wilkinson Architects is seeking a senior project architect/senior project designer to join its team in Los Angeles.
Clive Wilkinson Architects is seeking highly motivated and skilled project designers/project architects with ten plus years’ of relevant experience in either architecture or interior design with all-around capabilities.
We are currently working a hybrid schedule – three days per week in the office and two days per week remotely.
Requirements for this position include previous experience in corporate and/or institutional work. Applicants must have experience managing a team of people working on projects from concept design through construction administration phases. Proficiency in CAD/BIM programs is required. You must have knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and other CAD or design programs (we also use Newforma, Photoshop and Illustrator). Your experience should also include 3D presentation drawings (digital or hand sketches) for the communication of design ideas. Knowledge of interior planning, furniture systems and construction on both small and large-scale projects is advantageous.
We are a highly collaborative, design-focused practice looking to expand our talented team in our spacious Culver City studio. With an international reputation in workplace design and strategy, the firm is moving into other design spheres, including master planning, ground-up new construction, educational facilities, residential, hospitality and other challenging typologies. What constantly distinguishes our work is the integration of design with strategic research and innovation. We are thinking architects who aspire to excellence in all aspects of our work.
We are currently working on projects in North American cities such as Austin, Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco and Seattle, varying in size from 20,000sf to 1M SF, and from $2m to $700m in construction value.
To be considered for this position you must have US citizenship and/or authorization to work in the United States. Qualified applicants must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or interior design. The position is available immediately. Salary will be commensurate with abilities and relevant experience.
