Store planning manager
at COS

COS is looking for a store planning manager – Asia Pacific region to join its team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the brand manager for APAC and global head of interior, as store planning manager, you will be the representative for the COS interior team based in Hong Kong. You will oversee the daily operation within the Interior department whilst supporting the team. You will be responsible for completing projects, from the first scribble to follow-up, signing off layouts and designs in collaboration with the Function Head in London by executing the COS interior department vision and driving the COS interior department mission in APAC.

What you will do:

  • utilise and develop the character and potential, of a store in a commercial and efficient manner
  • collaborate with the STP manager in EU and North America, together with setting the structure and routine for our global collaboration
  • divide the workload within the STP team in Hong Kong
  • ensure that shared platforms are updated correctly (IPS, Expansion etc)
  • follow up on projects; review, evaluate and suggest improvements
  • keep strong communication with all stakeholders – externally and internally
  • set realistic deadlines for projects, ensuring these are always met
  • develop and improve internal building handbooks
  • support the different roles within the department to reach the best efficiency
  • work to strengthen teamwork and individual development within the interior team
  • support and comment on layouts, lighting and general design of a store already on a drawing stage
  • keep updated on all on-going projects within the department

About you

  • master’s degree in architecture
  • proficient in AutoCAD, 3D-modelling and presentations
  • proficient in Office and Adobe software
  • at least three years experience in a similar role within a retail-focused environment
  • previous leadership experience
  • excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • a proactive approach to work tasks and responsibilities
  • enjoys the challenge of coming up with new creative, site specific solutions
  • able to carry a project forward independently
  • strong understanding of the COS brand
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects at one time
  • able to cope with a high workload whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • flexible to travel, including to Europe
  • fluent in English
