Social media intern
at Dezeen

Dezeen is offering a social media internship on its digital team in London.

Dezeen is the world’s most influential architecture and design magazine with over three million readers a month and more than 7.5 million followers across social platforms.

We’re looking for an organised and detail-oriented individual with some experience of copywriting, social media and digital content.

The social media intern will assist the social media editor in ensuring that digital content published on Dezeen is scheduled for sharing across all our social media platforms.

In addition, the intern will assist the digital editor with other digital tasks as required, including newsletters and comment moderation.

The ideal candidate will exhibit:

  • impeccable standards of written English, a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation, and have an eye for a strong image
  • some experience in writing for social media
  • some experience working with social media scheduling software
  • fluent in TikTok and enthusiastic about emerging platforms
  • experience in editing short video content
  • proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Photoshop and Premiere Pro)

The role involves liaising with different departments at Dezeen to determine priorities and schedules as well as providing regular updates on task due dates and progress to relevant parties.

You must be available to work full-time for a minimum of three months and be able to start Monday 15 January. This is a paid position at a rate of £462 per week, and is based at Dezeen’s office in Hoxton, London, UK.
