Guy Piper Architects is seeking an architect and Part 2/3 or technician to join its team in London.
Location: London (Angel, N1)
Full-time, office-based, oompetitive salary (DOE)
Guy Piper Architects is a London-based practice specialising in high-quality residential architecture and interiors.
Our projects range from carefully detailed refurbishments and extensions — including bespoke joinery and interior design — to new-build houses and small residential developments.
Current work includes:
- a new timber-framed pool building with gym, sauna and games room
- multiple private residential extensions
- two small-scale developments (nine units each)
The role
This is a great opportunity to be hands-on and involved from early design stages through to construction.
As a small studio, every team member plays a key role. You will not be siloed into one phase — you will contribute to concept design, planning strategy, technical development and on-site information.
We are looking for someone who enjoys both design thinking and technical resolution, and who takes pride in producing clear, well-considered drawing packages.
Key Requirements:
- experience producing tender packages and construction drawings for residential projects
- strong detailing ability
- proficiency in Revit (essential)
- experience with Enscape advantageous
- good understanding of UK Building Regulations
- strong communication skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively
