Our Oxfordshire studio works on projects throughout the UK, combining thoughtful design with technical excellence and sustainable principles.
We are seeking a talented architect with a minimum of three years’ post-Part 3 experience to join our growing Oxfordshire team.
The role
As a key member of the studio, you will take responsibility for leading and delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages. You will contribute to both design development and technical delivery, working closely with directors, consultants, and clients.
This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, design-focused projects in a collaborative and supportive studio environment.
Key responsibilities:
- lead projects across RIBA Stages 2–6
- develop design proposals from concept through to technical delivery
- prepare and coordinate planning applications and building regulations packages
- produce detailed technical drawing packages and specifications
- coordinate consultants and manage project information
- attend client meetings, site visits, and contractor coordination meetings
- support junior team members and contribute to studio knowledge-sharingensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
Required skills and experience:
- ARB-registered Architect (UK)
- minimum three years’ post-Part 3 professional experience
- strong design sensibility with a well-presented portfolio
- demonstrable experience in technical detailing and construction packages
- experience managing projects through planning and construction
- strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning processes
- proficiency in AutoCAD (MicroStation experience desirable)
- excellent communication and presentation skills
- strong organisational and time-management abilities
Desirable:
- experience in residential sectors
- sustainable design knowledge
- experience working in a small to mid-sized design-led practice
