Tate+Co is seeking a Revit technician to join its team in east London.

About the role

This pivotal position is perfect for motivated professionals who possess robust job-running skills and comprehensive technical knowledge. As a Revit technician, you will significantly contribute to the firm’s diverse projects, leveraging your proficiency in Autodesk Revit to craft and oversee architectural designs.

Responsibilities:

  • modelling and documentation: translate design concepts into detailed Revit models, producing precise and high-quality architectural drawings and documentation
  • technical information production: generate technical information for tender packages, construction documentation and planning applications
  • project meetings: attend project meetings with clients, contractors and other consultants to ensure project objectives and timelines are met
  • regulatory compliance: working to help make sure that projects comply with statutory regulations and relevant local design standards
  • collaboration: work closely with the design team, architects, engineers and other stakeholders to develop innovative design solutions
  • coordination: liaise with suppliers and contractors and ensure project deliverables meet the required specifications

Skills and experience:

  • Revit and AutoCAD proficiency: proficient in the use of Revit and/or AutoCAD for creating detailed architectural designs
  • building regulations knowledge: excellent understanding of current building regulations
  • experience working on projects at all RIBA stages, with the ability to detail complex buildings and produce comprehensive working drawing packages
  • communication skills: fluent in English, both verbal and written, with strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners
  • attention to detail: keen attention to detail, with the ability to work within set budgets and timeframes
