London, UK
Studio and production coordinator
at Wilkinson and Rivera

Wilkinson and Rivera is looking for a studio and production coordinator to join its team in London.

Wilkinson and Rivera is looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organised studio and production coordinator to support the day-to-day running of both sides of our business.

About us

Wilkinson and Rivera is an art, design, and manufacturing studio. Our sister company, W and R Productions, works across custom fabrication, set building, and set decoration.

Working from our studio and workshop in Camden, we’re a small, hands-on team operating across two creative industries.

About the role

This is a varied role combining studio administration, purchasing, logistics, and project coordination with hands-on experience across our furniture and commercial production work.

We’re looking for someone who can confidently manage their own time, prioritise tasks independently, and keep multiple projects moving.

One day you might be coordinating furniture deliveries and ordering workshop supplies; the next, you could be sourcing props, organising materials for a set build, or joining us on a commercial shoot.

This is primarily a computer-based role, but one that offers direct exposure to the practical and logistical side of creative production.

Key responsibilities

Studio management:

  • monitor and replenish studio and workshop supplies, consumables, and backstock
  • coordinate purchasing requirements with our workshop and production teams
  • help oversee the day-to-day organisation, tidiness, and presentation of our studio and workshop

Admin and logistics:

  • assist with general administration, ensuring company records and information are accurate, organised, and up to date
  • assist with the administration of furniture orders, including basic domestic and international shipping logistics
  • liaise with suppliers, couriers, and clients on behalf of company directors

Purchasing and procurement:

  • source and order materials, supplies, and equipment for ongoing projects
  • research suppliers, compare prices, and coordinate collections and deliveries
  • assist with basic bookkeeping in Xero, including filing bills and receipts, managing expense records, and supporting account reconciliation

Production and set decoration support:

  • assist with sourcing, purchasing, collecting, and returning props and materials
  • support production planning and delivery, including scheduling, budget tracking, supplier coordination, and logistics
  • undertake runner duties for set decoration and production projects
  • help with practical tasks such as painting, preparing props, organising materials, and assisting with set builds
  • attend commercial shoots throughout Greater London and the surrounding area to provide production support
  • help transport, load, unload, and organise equipment, props, and materials

Our ideal candidate

We’re looking for someone who understands the importance of reliability, organisation, and initiative.

Essential:

  • previous experience in studio coordination, production assistance, administration, or a similarly varied role combining organisational and practical responsibilities
  • proven ability to manage your own workload, prioritise competing tasks, and work independently
  • strong attention to detail, with a systematic approach to administration and record-keeping
  • confident using digital administrative tools like Google Workspace and Asana
  • strong communication skills and a professional manner when dealing with clients, suppliers, and colleagues
  • flexibility to accommodate early starts, adjusted working hours, and occasional additional hours during production periods
  • comfortable with the occasional but recurring physical aspects of the role, including practical workshop tasks (painting) and prop handling

Desirable:

  • a full UK driving licence
  • experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Illustrator
  • an interest in production

Location and travel

This is a studio-based role at our Camden workshop (NW1 8HR), with occasional work on location across Greater London and the surrounding areas.

Candidates must be able to reliably commute to the workshop and accommodate early starts or late finishes when required by production schedules.

What to expect

We’re a small, ambitious company, and everyone plays an active part in getting projects over the line.

The work is varied, fast-paced, and occasionally demanding, particularly during production periods. It requires initiative, organisation, flexibility, and a willingness to take responsibility.

You’ll work closely with the company directors, gaining experience across furniture design, fabrication, set decoration, and commercial production.

We’re looking for someone who wants to grow with the company. For the right person, there’s a clear opportunity to take on greater responsibility, develop their management skills, and work towards a more senior role in the company.

Working hours and flexibility

Standard hours are 9am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, with some flexibility around individual preferences.

Early starts may be required for shoots and installations, but the standard eight-hour working day will still apply, with start and finish times adjusted accordingly.

Any additional hours will be agreed in advance wherever possible and compensated through time off in lieu (toil).

How to apply

Please send your CV and a brief introduction outlining your relevant experience and interest in the role to [email protected].
