Apt is seeking an architect to join its growing team in London.
The role
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented architect who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment. We are looking for an organised, detail-orientated, exceptional candidate to be a key participant of a project team. The successful candidate must have a strong creative drive, ability to develop design proposals, experience in detail drawing packages, design coordination, knowledge of UK building regulations, and the ability to maintain design quality throughout the design process.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:
- proven experience of working on larger scale complex projects
- a background that demonstrates excellent design and technical skills
- experience of being part of project team and making a notable contribution across the full range of work stages
- interpret the design direction and deliver to the highest standards
- confidence in presenting to consultants and senior colleagues as part of internal reviews
- have an excellent technical knowledge including UK Building Regulations, construction materials and detailing
- experience in contributing to, reviewing and understanding detailed specifications
- be proficient in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
- excellent verbal and sketch communication skills
- ambitions to develop their career in the industry and contribute to the success and growth of the studio

The position is a full-time role (40 hours per week), and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. The salary is between £40,000 and £50,000 dependent upon experience.
