The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano is hiring a junior university researcher with fixed-term contract in art – emerging art practices to join its faculty in Bolzano-Bozen, Italy.
Profile
We are seeking a junior post-conceptual artist with an active practice in spatial practices and/or performance art, who engages critically with political theory, cultural studies, postcolonial or gender studies. The ideal candidate maintains an internationally visible practice, regularly exhibiting and publishing work.

Research
You will develop projects addressing complex socio-cultural, technological, and environmental challenges through experimental, transdisciplinary, and practice-based approaches.
Teaching
Teaching in the Art Major of the BA program and/or our new Master in Critical Creative Practices, while possibly contributing to other programs of the Faculty (60–120 hours/year). Teaching language: English, German and/or Italian.
Requirements
PhD or equivalent international doctorate in Art, Design or related disciplines
Excellent command of at least one of the official teaching languages (English, German, Italian).
