Studio Webb is seeking a senior/lead designer to join its team in London.
Webb is an award-winning design studio based in London. For more than 35 years we’ve shaped change across diverse sectors, maintaining strong ties to industry and the world of work.
We are looking for a senior/lead designer to join our team.
Job description:
- independently lead projects from start to finish
- manage communication and meetings with partners
- strategic concept development and pitching
- ideation, CAD, visualisation, prototyping, and presentation creation
- international travel several times a year across Europe, Asia and North America
Skills and attributes (required):
- BA or MA in industrial or furniture design
- at least seven years’ of industry experience (post-graduation)
- expertise and experience in furniture design
- a strong understanding of design for manufacture
- strong administrative and organisational skills
- strong communication and presentation skills – including client facing
- CAD: Solidworks, Keyshot, Adobe suite (PS, ID, AI)
- good spoken and written English
Benefits and details:
- office-based (Isleworth, West London, TW7 6DB)
- 37.5 hour week
- 25 days annual leave plus one extra day for each year worked up to a maximum of 28 day
- flexible working hours (10am-4pm core hours)
- one day working from home per week
- pay bracket £50,00 – 65,000 depending on experience
