Moreno Masey is looking for an associate to join its team in London, UK.
We create exceptional spaces through thoughtful, technical and responsible
architecture. Moreno Masey are an award-winning, design-led architecture and interiors practice. We have a passion for contemporary, responsible design and work on bespoke residential, hospitality and commercial projects at varied scales across London and the UK. We are currently working both remotely and from our office in Working From_Southwark.
We are seeking a talented, experienced and collaborative Associate Architect to join our team in a leadership role with real responsibility and scope for impact. The position is ideal for someone looking to grow with the practice while delivering high quality architecture.
Responsibilities will include:
- leading bespoke residential and hospitality projects from inception to
completion - providing design direction and technical oversight across multiple project
stages - preparing and reviewing technical schedules and specification information for construction
- maintaining the integration of responsible design across all projects
- managing and coordinating project teams internally and with consultants
- collaborating with the associate team to deliver strategic and operational
goals - contributing to design and technical workshops across the studio
- identifying and mitigating risks through all RIBA work stages
- upholding client requirements and the company vision with a strong sense of
ownership - contributing to business development, resourcing and efficiencies across the
practice - mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative culture
- building and maintaining strong, productive relationships with clients,
consultants and contractors
Successful applicants will:
- have strong leadership skills and confidence in managing projects
independently - be excellent communicators, both internally and with clients and collaborators
- have a minimum of seven years’ of post-Part 3 experience
- demonstrate organisational skills, a proactive approach and management of
multiple priorities - demonstrate an outstanding portfolio of design and technical work
- be proficient in all RIBA work stages, with strong technical knowledge across the UK
- show a keen eye for design detail and an interest in responsible design approaches
- be proficient in MS Office, InDesign, Photoshop and Vectorworks Architect (3D a plus)
We use a pay formula to determine pay at Moreno Masey. We take median London rates for the role from the RIBA Benchmarking Survey from the previous year and adjust for inflation, rounded to the nearest £500. The pay for this position is £62,000, plus a comprehensive benefits package after six months.
We operate a pay formula to ensure fair market-level pay across the company and to ensure that there are no pay gaps based on gender, ethnicity or background.
