Senior architect

Moreno Masey is looking for a senior architect to join its team in London, UK.
We create exceptional spaces through thoughtful, technical and responsible
architecture. Moreno Masey are an award-winning, design-led architecture and interiors practice. We have a passion for contemporary, responsible design and work on bespoke residential, hospitality and commercial projects at varied scales across London and the UK. We are currently working both remotely and from our office in Working From_Southwark.
We are seeking a talented and committed senior architect with experience and
professionalism to work as part of a small team on bespoke residential and
hospitality projects, independently and alongside a project architect.
Responsibilities will include:
- strong experience leading projects and teams to successfully deliver projects
- demonstrating leadership skills and the ability to handle feedback and
communicating back to team effectively - leading design and technical workshops for all projects
- ensuring all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety
regulations - liaising with clients to ensure all issues are addressed in a timely manner, and
that project requirements are met - managing and fostering strong, productive relationships with clients,
consultants and contractor teams - maintaining careful custody of the client brief and company vision for projects in all aspects of the architectural process
- generating creative design at all stages of projects
- applicants to actively be involved in creation of drawings but also reviewing
team members drawings - preparing technical design and specification information for construction
- integrating responsible design and ethos into existing and new projects
- managing information packages with responsibility for end-to-end delivery and integration into the project
- bringing new ideas and energy into the company through self-directed
research and a curiosity for excellence in the built environment - reporting and providing feedback to the internal and external project team
- identifying project risks during the architectural process
- looking for opportunities to increase efficiencies and improve processes
across the business
Successful applicants will:
- have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

- have a good direct working knowledge of all RIBA work stages
- have a keen interest in high levels of design and detail
- be proficient in MS Office, InDesign and Photoshop (Vectorworks is a plus)!
We use a pay formula to determine pay at Moreno Masey. We take median London rates for the role from the RIBA Benchmarking Survey from the previous year and adjust for inflation, rounded to the nearest £500. The pay for this position is £47,000 (Part 3 up to five years’ post-qualification experience) plus a comprehensive benefits package after six months.
We operate a pay formula to ensure fair market-level pay across the company and to ensure that there are no pay gaps based on gender, ethnicity or background.
