About Stolon Studio

Stolon Studio is a London-based architecture and urban design practice working across housing, mixed-use and community sectors. Our approach is collaborative and research-led, grounded in the belief that architecture can strengthen communities and improve everyday life.

  • a range of small and medium urban sites that test new housing models and spatial innovation

You’ll join a small, dedicated team where your contribution matters. This role offers real responsibility and variety, from concept design and planning through to detailed delivery on site. You’ll lead on projects, collaborate directly with clients and consultants, and help shape the evolution of a growing studio.

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • ARB-registered or recently qualified RIBA Part 3 architect
  • strong design and technical proficiency with an ability to think strategically and spatially
  • experience leading small to medium-scale projects or distinct work packages
  • proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows (essential), plus good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software (Rhino/SketchUp)
  • a proactive mindset and a desire to contribute beyond your immediate brief
  • a genuine interest in community-focused and sustainable design

Desirable:

  • experience delivering residential or community-led architecture
  • interest in sustainable design, MMC, and low-carbon construction
  • understanding of procurement and contract administration

What we offer:

  • opportunity to lead projects from concept to completion in a supportive, collaborative environment
  • exposure to a wide range of project types and stages
  • mentoring and progression opportunities within the practice
  • a practice culture that values initiative, rigour and genuine design contribution
