Piercy&Company is seeking an HR coordinator to join its team in London.

We are delighted to announce a vacancy for a mid-level HR coordinator at our fast-paced studio.

Piercy&Company is a practice of around 85 Architects, Interior Designers and Researchers, fuelled by a shared passion for materials, form, technology and craft. We are based out of a studio and workshop in London where interdisciplinary teams work together in a collaborative ‘design house’ model. The studio is a place for exchange, active production and the testing of ideas, forms and materials. Our studio support team works with matched energy and attentiveness to keep everything running smoothly.

About the role

We’re looking for a proactive and organised HR Coordinator to join our HR team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in HR administration who’s ready to take the next step and play a key role in supporting and improving our people operations. The role offers broad exposure across the employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to learning, performance, and wellbeing initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

  • provide effective day-to-day coordination and administration across all areas of HR
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within our HR database, ensuring compliance with data protection requirements
    Manage and support recruitment processes, including preparing job adverts, liaising with candidates, coordinating interviews, and issuing offer documentation
  • coordinate annual and mid-year performance reviews, ensuring timely completion and accurate record-keeping
  • oversee the administration of our internal mentoring programme
  • support the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring a positive and consistent employee experience (including right-to-work checks, inductions, and IT setup coordination)
  • organise and track employee training, maintaining accurate training records and supporting learning initiatives
  • prepare HR-related correspondence, including contracts, reference letters, and policy updates
  • support payroll preparation and assist with absence and holiday management
  • act as a first point of contact for day-to-day HR queries, escalating more complex matters as appropriate
  • contribute to the development and delivery of HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

Skills and experience

Essential:

  • previous experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role
  • strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • confident communicator with strong written and verbal skills
  • proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (or similar tools)
  • discreet and professional in handling confidential and sensitive information
  • ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • experience using HR software or databases
  • working towards or holding a CIPD qualification (Level 3 or above)
  • interest in supporting HR projects and developing broader HR knowledge
