Lineworks Architects is a dynamic architectural practice known for delivering thoughtful, high-quality design across residential, commercial, and interior-focused projects. We are growing our team and seeking a talented Part 2 architectural assistant with a strong interest and in residential architecture and interior design.
Role overview
You will work closely with our architects on projects from concept through to delivery. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across both architecture and interiors, has excellent design sensitivity, and is confident taking responsibility within a collaborative studio environment.
Key responsibilities:
- support the development of architectural and interior design concepts
- produce drawings, models, mood boards, and presentations
- assist with technical design packages and tender documentation
- conduct material and product research, particularly for interior schemes
- contribute to spatial planning, furniture layouts, and FF&E selections
- work on project coordination, client presentations, and consultant liaison
- participate in site visits, surveys, and design team meetings
- ensure design work complies with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- demonstrated experience or strong interest in interior design
- proficiency in design software including Revit, Rhino and or SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- strong visual communication and presentation skills
- a creative, organised, and detail-oriented approach
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- eligibility to work in the UK
Desirable:
- experience with FF&E specification
- knowledge of UK building regulations and planning processes
- experience working on luxury and high-end residential
