Senior architect

POD Architects is looking for a senior architect with residential and technical experience to join its growing London studio.
The role will focus on technical design with the development of tender and HSE gateway two information.
POD Architects has a predominant focus in the residential mixed-use sector with schemes ranging in size from 150-400 units, along with some one-off houses.

Many of the projects are located on strategically significant sites. We approach each project as a collaborate effort, working closely with clients and local authorities, and regularly conducting in-house design reviews.

The role:
You will work closely with directors to:
- lead the delivery of high-quality, design-focused architecture
- manage projects and develop packages for RIBA Stage 4
- lead and deliver Gateway two projects
- coordinate with clients, consultants and local authorities
- oversee and mentor project teams
- ensure smooth project delivery, quality control and programme management
What we’re looking for:
- five to ten years post-Part 3 experience
- UK residential design and delivery experience
- proven technical experience
- excellent Revit skills, used daily in practice
- confident in managing teams and leading client relationships
- strong communication skills to liaise both internally and externally
- good knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
- experience in coordinating schemes of scale, typically these will be 100-300 unit UK residential schemes, going through all RIBA stages
