Feix&Merlin is looking for an architect to join its team in London, UK.
The architect will join Feix&Merlin’s team and help deliver the next wave of projects, from early concept through to technical design and on-site.
About us:
Feix&Merlin is an award-winning, queer-led architecture studio based in the Bussey Building in Peckham.
Our work spans major civic, heritage and higher education projects, as well as hospitality and cultural projects across the UK and Europe.
About you:
- a qualified Architect (RIBA Pt3) with two or three years experience post qualification, strong technical, design and communication skills
- experience working as a project architect, on medium to large, complex projects
- confident working in 3D and 2D, with solid technical understanding
- comfortable working in existing buildings and sensitive historic contexts
- collaborative, curious, proactive and happy in a small, hands-on studio environment
Essential:
- we work in Vectorworks and it is essential you have excellent working knowledge of the software
What you will do:
- work across all stages on complex refurbishment and new build projects
- contribute to design concepts, presentations and client workshops
- coordinate with consultants and help manage workflow and project information
- support delivery of planning applications, detailed design packages and technical packs
This is a London-based role, primarily based at our studio in the Bussey Building in Peckham, with plenty of responsibility, direct client exposure, and real scope to grow with us.
