Part 2 architectural assistant

Apt is seeking a Part 2 architectural assistant on a fixed term contract of six months to join its team in London, UK.

The role

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and talented creative Part II Architectural Assistant who is passionate about working in a dynamic environment. We are looking for an organised, graphically orientated, exceptional candidate to be a key participant of a competitions team. The successful candidate must have a strong creative drive, ability to develop design proposals, experience in early-stage concept design and the ability to create high quality presentation material.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • a background that demonstrates excellent design skills
  • exceptional graphical and visualisation skills
  • excellent verbal and sketch communication skills
  • experience of being part of project team and making a notable             contribution to projects in early work stages
  • the ability to interpret the design direction and deliver to the highest standards
  • proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • experience in Sketch-Up and Rhino is preferred
  • the ability to produce high-quality physical models
  • an enthusiastic attitude
  • ambitions to contribute to the success and growth of the studio

About Apt

Apt is an award-winning architectural practice.

From our studio in Clerkenwell, the heart of London’s design district, we work across multiple sectors including workplace, residential, commercial, creative reuse, hospitality, place-making, heritage, interiors, arts and community projects of all shapes and sizes across the UK and internationally.

This fixed term position is a full-time role (40 hours per week), and applicants must be eligible to work in the UK. Remuneration is dependent upon experience and the salary is likely to be in the range of 33K-36K.
