Design systems, technical quality and practice performance
JA Projects is seeking a practice innovation and delivery lead to join the studio in a senior leadership role. The position has been created in response to the practice’s growth, increasing technical complexity, and expanding international profile.
This role is focused on designing the practice, not just the projects. It brings together design systems, technical quality, and practice performance, with responsibility for how the studio works rather than individual project authorship.
The successful candidate will take practice-wide responsibility for design systems, quality assurance, innovation (including AI), and delivery frameworks, working closely with the Founder and project leads to strengthen resilience, consistency, and performance across the studio.
This is a destination role for an experienced architect who wants authority and long-term impact without pursuing partnership or design authorship.
Start date: February/March 2026 (with flexibility)
Working pattern: 3–5 days per week (by agreement)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and days
Location: London (with flexibility)
