The associate director is a senior role at Purple, leading high-profile clients across property, design, and architecture. This role drives bold, culturally relevant communications, shapes strategic campaigns, and delivers exceptional client service and value. With deep industry expertise and a passion for storytelling, the associate director will elevate both our clients’ brands and Purple’s reputation as a prominent player in luxury real estate communications.

Requirements:

  • maintain and grow senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
  • provide strategic counsel to clients, ensuring alignment with their business objectives and brand ethos
  • lead the creation and delivery of client strategies and campaigns, ensuring best-in-class account service
  • industry trend forecasting and insights to ensure campaigns remains innovative, creative, and commercially effective
  • cultivate relationships with top-tier media, influencers and industry stakeholders, to actively pitch stories, broaden networks and new opportunities
  • support with new business strategy, identifying opportunities and securing new clients

Skills and experience:

  • an execution-focused individual who delivers outcomes
  • strong project management skills, including prioritizing and delivering results in a fast-paced environment
  • industry experience across property and design; international experience within these sectors beneficial
  • minimum 10 years PR/communications experience
  • established high-level media and industry contacts across global publications and platforms
  • understanding of wider hospitality, culture, lifestyle, and luxury industries
  • exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives
  • strong problem-resolution skills, including creativity and resourcefulness in dynamic environments
  • demonstrated success in securing new business and driving revenue growth
