We are looking for a proactive and creative senior marketing executive to join our centralised marketing and communications function. Based in the UK and embedded within AKT II, the role also forms part of the wider Tyréns Group marketing and communications team, offering exposure to an international, interdisciplinary organisation.

This is a hands-on role delivering a broad range of marketing activity, including digital marketing, campaign planning, content creation, and the coordination of events and awards. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues across AKT II, including the in-house creative team, and work with marketing and communications teams across the Tyréns Group to help shape communications and business development initiatives.

The role supports AKT II’s studios and priority markets across London, the wider UK, North America, the Middle East and Europe, reflecting the practice’s collaborative and international reach.

Working with leadership teams, project leads and support functions, you’ll contribute to the development and delivery of marketing, communications and business strategies. Key responsibilities:

  • plan, manage and deliver integrated communications and content campaigns across multiple channels
  • analyse and optimise digital performance, including both organic and paid activity
  • use data and analytics insights to continuously refine and improve external communications
  • drive the growth, reach and effectiveness of our digital channels
  • contribute to company-wide marketing initiatives and strategic projects
  • write, produce, and publish news stories, case studies, and a range of content for external platforms
  • develop and implement marketing and communications plans, ensuring the timely coordination of agreed activities
  • coordinate events and awards programmes, delivering high‑quality and impactful experiences

Key skills:

  • strong hands on marketing experience, ideally within the built environment or a related sector
  • proven expertise in digital content marketing and campaign management
  • experience in event planning, management, and coordination
  • strong understanding of social media, web platforms, and audience‑focused content creation
  • experienced in using CMS platforms for web publishing
  • good knowledge of SEO principles and analytics tools
  • a solid understanding of brand development and a passion for crafting messages for diverse audiences
  • strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritise and deliver to deadlines
  • experience providing clear, effective communications advice to managers and colleagues
  • a data‑driven approach, with experience in measuring, analysing, and reporting performance metrics, with a focus on conversion
  • an interest in innovative, design‑led architecture and engineering within the built environment is advantageous
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • a degree in communications, marketing, or a related field (desirable)
