Interior designer/architect
at Turnerbates Design & Architecture
Turnerbates Design & Architecture is looking for a talented interior designer or architect with at least two years’ professional experience to join its London studio.
We are a design-led practice working nationally and internationally across the hospitality and workplace sectors. We create distinctive spaces that combine strong creative identity with strategic thinking and commercial insight.
We’re seeking a strong all-rounder, someone who excels both creatively and technically, contributing ideas, producing precise drawings, and supporting projects from concept to delivery. You will work closely with our senior team at every stage, helping to create thoughtful, well-resolved, and inspiring environments.
Responsibilities:
- supporting the development of concept design ideas and spatial strategies
- producing plans, layouts and presentation drawings
- assisting with 3D modelling and visual presentations
- contributing to design development and technical packages
- researching and specifying materials, furniture, lighting and finishes
- coordinating with consultants and project teams
Skills and experience:
- minimum two years’ professional experience in interior design or architecture
- strong design sensibility and interest in hospitality & workplace environments
- proficiency in Vectorworks or Revit (ideally both)
- experience with Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modelling software
- ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawings and presentations
- site experience is beneficial but not essential
- organised, proactive and collaborative approach
- fluent written and spoken English
