The role
We are looking for a junior architect/interior designer to join our London team and support the development and delivery of bespoke lighting and architectural glass projects across the UK, Europe and the US.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior designer looking to gain hands-on experience across design development, technical detailing, client coordination and bespoke manufacturing within an international and fast-paced environment.
You will work closely with our project managers, Italian artisans and production teams, gaining exposure to the full lifecycle of luxury projects from concept design and presentations through technical development, production and installation.
This role is designed as a long-term growth opportunity within the company. The successful candidate will progressively gain increasing levels of responsibility, with the objective of independently managing projects and client coordination over time. We are looking for someone motivated to grow within the studio and develop both creatively and professionally alongside the company’s international expansion.
The ideal candidate is curious, proactive, detail-oriented and passionate about architecture, interiors, materials and craftsmanship.
Key responsibilities:
- support the development of 2D drawings, shop drawings and 3D models for bespoke lighting and glass installations
- assist with client presentations and design documentation
- help coordinate projects between the London office, Italian production teams and external consultants
- prepare schedules, trackers, specifications and project documentation
- assist with prototype development and material research.
- attend internal meetings, client meetings and occasional site visits
- support the team with drawing revisions, technical coordination and project administration
- contribute to maintaining high design and presentation standards across all project stages
Requirements:
- degree in architecture, interior architecture or interior design
- up to two years of professional experience (internships and placement years included)
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Rhino 3D
- good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Interest in bespoke fabrication, lighting, materials and architectural detailing - confident working across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- fluency in English required; Italian is a strong advantage
- positive attitude, willingness to learn and proactive mindset
- based in London or able to commute regularly for a minimum of three days per week
