D3 is hiring a French-speaking architect to join its team in London.
D3 are seeking a qualified French-speaking architect with high end residential experience to join its friendly team of 20 in Putney, London. The candidate should have experience working on projects in French-speaking countries and be comfortable in the post-planning phases of a project seeing the concept through to completion on site. They should have the necessary experience to effectively collaborate with and manage project teams, meet project deadlines and possess excellent client relationship skills.
Main tasks to include the following:
- take a planning concept and formalise it into a developed design, working alongside the in-house interiors team to develop out the interior architecture
- collaborate with various teams in order to establish goals, schedules and budgets
- collaborate with sub-consultants based on a project site abroad
- conduct site evaluations to ensure quality of work and adherence to safety standards
- oversee and make recommendations throughout entire construction process
- producing design drawing and tender packages using AutoCAD
- ability to prepare full tender documentation
Desired experience:
- fluent French speakers only
- five plus years’ of experience
- ARB – Part 3 qualified or equivalent (French qualification a plus)
- experience of working on housing, private residential and high end fit-out projects
- knowledge of working across all RIBA work stages
- UK and France site experience and comfortable with building regulations and standards
- experience leading a project abroad through construction
The successful candidate should demonstrate the following skills:
- must be AutoCAD literate
- good time management and organisation skills
- strong creative and presentation skills and an eye for detail
- excellent technical skills and construction knowledge
- ability to prepare fully coordinated construction sets
- possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
