Experienced Part 2 architectural assistant

Kiani Architects is hiring an experienced Part 2 architectural assistant to join its team in London.
Kiani Architects is a London-based studio working across the workplace, residential and student accommodation sectors, and we are looking for a Part 2 architectural assistant/non-ARB architect to join our team.
We work closely with clients, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers to create buildings that are detailed, thoughtful and unique.
You’ll be joining us at an exciting moment, with current projects including:
- a seven‑storey commercial development in Clerkenwell nearing completion
- a large commercial refurbishment, also in Clerkenwell
- a retention, refurbishment and new‑build scheme in Greenwich
- a mixed‑use contemporary industrial development in North London
You’ll work closely with the director and project architect across all RIBA stages, with immediate involvement in developing Stage 3 designs into Stage 4. You’ll support the team and gain valuable Part 3 experience and be fully supported. You’ll gain full exposure to projects, real responsibility and meaningful input into design decisions from day one.
We’re looking for someone who:
- proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Office 365
- experience using Enscape and 3DS Max desirable, but not essential – we are Windows-based
- excellent verbal and written English communication and presentation skills
- excellent design skills including hand sketching, visualisation and physical modelling and 3D printing.
- good technical knowledge and experience in coordinating SMEP
- sound knowledge of UK planning and building regulations
- ability to work collaboratively as part of a small team
- self-motivated and able to take responsibility
- thirst for continual improvement and learning
