Interior architect/designer
at Upcircle

Upcircle is recruiting an interior architect/designer for the beginning of 2019 to join its team in London.

We are looking for an experienced interior architect/designer to work on a variety of commercial interior architecture projects across broad markets from offices spaces to student accommodations and exhibition spaces. You may contribute to the design as a team member on larger projects, or work more independently under the supervision of a project manager or principal for smaller design projects.

Upcircle is a design studio based in London that offers design consultancy services on digital, graphic, furniture and interior design. The studio was formed by three partners with the same passion for innovative, inspiring and sophisticated design and thanks to their multidisciplinary, highly qualified and experienced team, Upcircle takes care of projects from the beginning to completion with two main values: sustainability and design excellence.

Job requirements:

  • proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Indesign and SketchUp are essential
  • two-three  years post qualification experience
  • residential and contract interior layouts capability
  • detailed and construction drawings capability
  • creative flair and ability to think dynamically
  • the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • excellent attention to detail
  • ability to interpret and incorporate abstract concepts into concise, accurate drawings and details
  • good at multi-tasking
  • excellent time management and organisation skills
  • ability to effectively communicate design ideas and direction verbally and visually

Information

We are based in Old Street however you will also be able to work remotely.

The position can be full time or part time.
