Tuckey Design Studio is looking for an architectural assistant to join its team in London.
We are looking for an architectural assistant to help produce a comprehensive set of orthogonal CAD drawings of the practice’s work to date.
The successful candidate to have a keen eye for line drawing and hatch work, with the ability to create architectural and diagrammatic drawings in a crafted, beautiful, and legible manner.
We seek applicants with the following qualifications, qualities, and experience:
- proficiency with CAD drawing is required
- Vectorworks experience is preferred but essential
- excellent presentation skills
- attention to detail
- initiative, resourcefulness, and proactivity in approach to daily tasks whilst working within the agreed procedures and given timings
- strong organisational skills
- a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word and Outlook
- good communication skills
- ability to work well as part of a team and independently as required
- prior experience working in a practice helpful
This is a fixed-term contract tied directly to the completion of a project, with an anticipated duration of four–six months. The role will be full-time and office-based.
