Weston Williamson + Partners is looking for a BIM manager to join its office in London.
Weston Williamson + Partners (WW+P) is an architectural and urban design practice that specialises in transport infrastructure and related urban design projects. Geographically, WW+P works both in the UK and overseas with projects in Australia, USA, Dubai, India, Kuala Lumpur and China.

We are looking for an experienced Studio BIM/design technology manager to strengthen our team.
Responsibilities:
- develop practice strategy for implementation of BIM process, standards and supporting technologies
- develop, support and deliver the practice training program for project teams in BIM process and relevant technologies
- support project partners in BIM contract negotiations and client engagement
- help to determine appropriate BIM scope, delivery program and resource planning for project deliveries and produce the implementation plan for projects
- support team communication of project standards, workflows and process requirements
- support BIM coordinators in BIM project setup and delivery
- provide quality control processes for completeness and adherence to BIM process and standards
- maintain a strong working knowledge of current industry BIM process and technologies
- take on additional tasks to develop/improve the company’s BIM standards and procedures
Qualities and skills required:
- demonstrate the ability to undertake the above responsibilities
- legally able to work in the country in which the position is based
- advanced technical skills in the relevant BIM technologies
- strong working knowledge of current UK BIM process and standards and BIM international standards, contractual and legal issues
- five+ years working in an Architectural production environment
- five+ years working on BIM Projects in a BIM management role
- experience in implementing practice wide BIM process adoption
- excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- excellent organisational and negotiation skills
- self-starter with drive to succeed and improve
- resilient to cope with conflicting demands, able to prioritise duties and work effectively under pressure
- able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
- good interpersonal skills and able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- degree qualified in design/architecture or related discipline
Salary range:
- £55,000 – £60,000 depending on experience
