FF&E procurement administrator and project coordinator
at Black and Milk
Black and Milk is looking for an FF&E procurement administrator and project coordinator to join its team in London.
We are an award winning, young and creative interior architecture and design studio. We create modern, high-end homes for stylish London families. We handle every step of the creation process from concept, specification, project management and procurement of FF&E items with high proportion of bespoke products.
We have an opening for an experienced FF&E procurement manager who will be supporting the interior design team in creating the finest UK homes. The ideal person will be highly numerical, tenacious and have a keen eye for detail. Project planning and keeping things organised will be in your blood. You will help to keep all projects on time and within budget.
Main duties:
- plan and manage all procurement and installation activities for the studio
- liaise with suppliers: negotiating price, request quotes and samples, confirm specification, place orders, chase deliveries
- liaise with contractors: issue and confirm product specification; coordinate deliveries, installations and works on site
- keep project procurement documentation up-to-date. Communicate updates to the clients
- control and manage project budgets
- research new suppliers and maintain database with existing ones
- resolving aftercare issues
Skills and experience:
- two to three years experience in interior design in similar capacity
- good knowledge of contemporary FF&E market: second fix, loose furniture, window dressing
- demonstrate understanding of bespoke product specification e.g. joinery, custom loose furniture
- excellent English and great communication skills
- knowledge of project management and planning tools
- Pro excel skills
- experience with estimac or similar is a plus
