David Chipperfield Architects is looking for a new business administrator to join its firm in London.
David Chipperfield Architects London is looking for a new business administrator to work with our new business and support teams, co-ordinating and monitoring the progress of new business and supporting the preparation of submissions.
Candidates should have an interest in the business, marketing and acquisitions side of architecture, and previous experience working on tenders and bids is preferable. A proven ability to work well under pressure; experience delivering high quality work on demanding deadlines; and a pragmatic approach to multi-tasking are critical to this role. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite is essential.
Duties will include:
- preparing tender responses and competition documentation
- coordinating bid production including input of bid information
- writing, proofing and editing texts
- preparing presentations
- housekeeping of all relevant submission documents and records, company information and previous answers
- collating tender responses/feedback
- supporting communications team with a range of tasks
Skills and competencies:
- fluent spoken and written English is essential (Fluency in another language an advantage)
- proficiency in administrative and organisational duties
- MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- experience with Adobe InDesign is essential
- experience with Deltek (Union Square) desirable but not essential
